The New Jersey
Council on Special Transportation's 16th
Annual COST Vendor Expo will be held at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel
on Friday,
September 16, 2011. Last years Expo attracted more than 180
paratransit and community transportation, directors, planners, coordinators
and support staff to attended. The hours of the Expo will be from 8:30 am to 3:00
pm.
This
year, two workshops will again be presented; one for transportation
administrators, managers and planners and the second for vehicle
maintenance supervisors and employees.
NJ
COST is honored to have two nationally renowned community
transportation experts present each workshop.
Peter Schauer from
Missouri
will address the transportation administrators, managers and planners.
Making a return visit to the NJ COST Expo, the always popular and
informative Halsey King from
California
, will focus his presentation on vehicle specifications.
In addition to the workshops
being offered, there will be more than 30 inside and outdoor exhibitors
displaying their paratransit and community transportation products, vehicles
and services.
The
registration fee for the Expo is $65.00
per person and includes a continental breakfast and a sumptuous hot and
cold buffet luncheon with two meat carving tables.
After the Expo, guests may stroll around the
beautiful landscaped grounds of the PNC Bank Arts Center and visit the
Vietnam Memorial and Museum.
