COST Vendor & Vehicle Exposition 2007

Save the Date...COST Vendor Expo 2007 - Friday, September 14, 2007

The New Jersey Council on Special Transportation's 12th Annual COST Vendor Expo will be held at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on Friday, September 14, 2007.  This year, the Expo is expecting more than 160 paratransit and community transportation, directors, planners, coordinators and support staff attended.

This year's exhibitors include:  Shepard Brothers, Arcola, American Bus & Coach, Accessible Vans & Mobility, Freedman Seating, Sure-Lok,  The Braun Corporation,  ABT Products & Services, Q-Straint,  RouteMatch Software,  Factory Direct Bus Sales, Insight Fleet Services, Ricon Corp, TranSched/Ontira, Trapeze Group, Truck King International, Firetrace USA, NJ Transit, NJ Council on Special Transportation, E-Z Ride, Engraph, InterMotive, INIT - Innovations in Transportation, Inc., Maxon Mobility

This year, two workshops will be offered.  Improving Performance: How to Compete will be offered for transportation administrators, managers, planners and supervisors.  This workshop will be presented by Joseph Seitz, Director of Training & Development for the Maryland Transit Administration.  This workshop comes highly recommended from CTAA.

The second workshop being offered is equally as exciting.  NJ COST is delighted to announce that one of the country’s leading transportation maintenance experts, Halsey King, has been contracted to present a workshop for maintenance supervisors, mechanics and their support staff titled  Post Accident Procedures for Maintenance. 

In addition to the workshops being offered, there will be more than 25 inside and outdoor exhibitors displaying their paratransit and community transportation products and services.  Also, The Braun Corporation has sponsored the luncheon keynote speaker, Brett Eastburn.  Brett is a respected motivational speaker who has traveled worldwide demonstrating his ability to overcome his disability.
