      Conference Information and Registration

Parking:  $5 per day city parking tax, per day except hotel guests which is $5 per Stay (unlimited days).

Meeting Rooms:  All are on the 2nd floor (CF), which is the conference room level. 

Conference Registration for Pre-registered and Walk-in’s:  Just inside the Exhibit Hall.  There are separate registration lines for Pre-registered, Walk-in registration, NJ DOT, and NJ Transit, which are identified at the registration desk.

Message Board:  Located near registration desk.  Faxes during conference to (609) 343-5211 or telephone 800-843-8767.

Computer Access:  All guest rooms have wireless computer access and WiFi.

Name tags and Meal Tickets:  You must wear your name tag to be admitted  to all sessions, to the exhibit hall, and to all meal functions.  You must have your ticket to enter the luncheon and networking reception.

Door Prizes:  Drop your business card in the Door Prize Business Card Receptacle.  Business cards will be drawn Wednesday at 2:45pm, you will have until 3:30pm to select your door prize from the wide array of items displayed near the registration desk.  On Thursday, the door prizes will be awarded from 11:00 until 11:30, same location.  Major prizes will be drawn and awarded at the luncheon on Wednesday.  Special recognition will be given companies and agencies that donate door prizes.  

 

About the Hotel  (just steps to the boardwalk)

Coat & Luggage Check Room is in the hotel lobby on the ground floor.  It is open 24 hours a day.

Luggage may be stored there before check-in and after checking out for a very modest fee.

Overnight Guest Check-in: is after 3pm at Hotel Check-in area on the ground floor.

Guest Rooms: All of the spacious guest rooms have been remodeled within the last year!

Guest Room Suites:  There are a variety of different size and type suites available.  Want the best suite in the hotel? Then book the Alexander the Great Suite.  It’s 4,500 square feet and has its own steam room, sauna, weight room, Jacuzzi, bar, lounge, living room, pantry, master bedroom, and a guest room. Cost per night only $10,000.  Oh, you get a butler with it too!

Gambling:  Good News for Counties & NJT:  7.5% of the casino taxes generated for the state are dedicated to fund county transportation systems for seniors and disabled in NJ and some NJ Transit services.

Indoor Pool, Health Spa, and Fitness Center:  The Olympic size indoor swimming pool if free.  There is a $20 fee per day for use of the Health Spas (lounge area with TV, locker area, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, showers, massage rooms, and tanning rooms) and the Exercise Facility (Nautilus equipment, Aerobicycles, rowing machines, tread mills, and much more.  The aerobic room has a wide screen TV and library with aerobic tapes.

Dining in the Hotel:  Spice Road is for sandwiches, salads, Paninis, burgers, Starbucks, breakfast. Hard Rock Cafe (lunch and dinner – American), Sbarro (Lunch & Dinner - Italian dishes and pizza cafeteria style for a quick meal), Sultan's Feast Buffet (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner:  NY Strip Steak, rotisserie chicken, a gourmet pizza station and dessert station), Beriyo (fruit blends and frozen yogurt treats), The Rim (lunch & dinner - gourmet noodle bar), and Royal Albert's Palace (lunch and dinner - Indian cuisine).  Fine Dining:  Dynasty (oriental cuisine), Mark Anthony's (Italian cuisine), and the Safari Steakhouse (beef, lobster, veal).  Lounges:  Casbar (near our Xanadu theater), Ego Bar & Lounge (A huge dance floor and a wide variety of live performances – open 24 hours), Rainforest Lounge (a great place to grab a quick drink and chat with friends), Lobby Bar (in the main lobby), and Moon (an upscale bar pouring specialty cocktails and serving sushi).

Boardwalk:  The hotel has several doors opening right to the boardwalk.

Outlet Stores:  Downtown Atlantic City’s The Walk is a major outlet store area, with dozens of large discount outlet stores.  Convenient to the Taj Mahal via taxi, jitney, car, or walk the Boardwalk and follow the signs to the convention center.  The outlet stores are between the boardwalk and the convention center.

Good News:  7.5% of the casino taxes fund county transportation for senior and disabled in NJ and some NJ Transit services.
